Police in Beijing closed some roads leading to the tallest building in the city's central business direct, and Reuters ‌witness ⁠observed a ⁠missing glass panel on a high floor on the side of the building.

The building, known as CITIC Tower or China Zun, ⁠is a 108-story ‌skyscraper in east Beijing. It is the ⁠headquarters of the state-owned conglomerate CITIC Group and it is the tallest building in the Chinese capital.

There is heavy police presence at the site, with some ‌roads leading up to the building closed to cars. Police ⁠officers were spotted stopping people from taking pictures and ushering people away from the building.
