‘Bad teleprompter, bad escalator’: Trump mocks UN at General Assembly, ‘empty words don’t solve wars'
US President Donald Trump opened his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York with a jab at the global body. He joked that 'a bad teleprompter and a bad escalator' were all he got from the UN before turning serious, criticising the institution for delivering 'empty words' that he said cannot solve wars.
