According to reports by a section of the media, a Bulgarian seer had once predicted that Russian president Vladimir Putin would rule the world.

Baba Vanga, known as the "Nostradamus of the Balkans", is also famous for predicting things that came to closely resemble the 9/11 terror attacks and Brexit.

She had also predicted the Chernobyl disaster and the death of Princess Diana.

Reports say that she had told the Daily Mail Russia would become 'lord of the world' after Europe is reduced to a 'wasteland.'

'All will thaw, as if ice, only one remain untouched – Vladimir's glory, glory of Russia,' she is reported to have said at some point.

Nobody can stop Russia, she had reportedly augured.

Vanga's predictions cover a period spanning from her own times up until 5079. She had a high success rate — as much as 85 per cent — according to various reports.

Her predictions also reportedly talked of the rise of Islamic State, and — according to various reports — that the 44th president of the US would be an African-American.
