'Always call it Lake Ontario': Canadian minister Joly rejects Trump's rename threat amid trade war

Canadian Industry Minister Melanie Joly said on Tuesday (August 25) that Canada would "always call it Lake Ontario," responding to U.S. President Donald Trump's suggestion that it be renamed "Lake America." Trump said he was considering the change as trade tensions between the two countries escalated.
