'A real hero with street smarts...': Trump honors Jesse Jackson at Black History Month event

U.S. President Donald Trump marked the 100th anniversary of Black History Month at the White House on Wednesday (February 18), opening the event with remarks praising civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, who died on Tuesday (February 17). Trump called Jackson “a real hero” with “street smarts” and offered condolences to his family. Trump also spoke about rapper Nicki Minaj, who recently declared herself a Trump fan, and boxers such as Mike Tyson, who he said had been "loyal to him."
