20-year-old walks 32 km to join first day of office on time, CEO rewards him his car
How 'far' would you go to earn that coveted position or recognition at your workplace? This 20-year old literally went 20 miles or nearly 32 kilometer (distance between Delhi's Cannaught place and Gurgaon) just to be on time on the first day of his new job. Walter Carr, a college graduate in Alabama, US, just got a dream start to his career when he got a luxury car gift from the CEO of the company in recognition of his dedication for work.

A night before his joining day, Carr realised that his car was not working. He called his friends but nobody helped. Unable to secure any alternative, he checked on GPS and estimated that it would take about 7 hours of walk to reach the town. Determined Carr started his walk around midnight to reach the company office at 8 am.

However, after hours of walking at around 4 am, police saw the student walking alone and stopped him out of suspicion. After learning the boy's situation the police took his for some breakfast and some rest and later dropped him to his office with the help of citizens.

Carr's story went viral over social media and when Bellhops CEO Luke Marklin learned about Carr's dedication to join on time on the first day of office, he came all the way to Alabama to reward him with his personal car Ford Escape.
