100 people evacuated by Australia from Nepal
Up to 20 of the Australian citizens registered with the government as being in Nepal are still unaccounted for, the report said.

According to media reports, the flights of two RAAF C-17 Globemaster transport planes were sent to evacuate stranded Australians and deliver 15 tonnes of supplies of tarpaulins, medicines, blankets and water purification tablets.
The flights carried a mix of trekkers, tourists and volunteer workers with reports of many more Australians still stranded in the trekking hub of Lukla near Mount Everest.
ABC said that most of the evacuees had been camped out at the Australian embassy since the quake.
Australian ambassador to Nepal Glenn White has been tasked with leading the effort to account for the hundreds of Australians who were in Nepal when the quake hit.
"We've located most Australians, or at least we think they're safe," he said.

The 7.9-magnitude quake killed nearly 6,200 people, and injured at least 14,000. The UN says more than eight million people have been affected by the quake.
