Zach Bryan releases sixth studio album "With Heaven on Top”, featuring 25 self-written and produced tracks

Zach Bryan has solidified his position in contemporary country music with the launch of With Heaven on Top, his sixth studio album via Warner Records. Popular for his raw, heartfelt narrative, Bryan wrote, recorded, and produced all 25 tracks himself in Tulsa, Oklahoma, leading to a project that is intensely personal yet expansive in scope, all while being grounded in the plainspoken storytelling that has become his signature.

Exploring the Album

‘With Heaven on Top' comes like a road map through Bryan’s inner world, blending moments of intimacy and restlessness, faith and doubt, longing and determination. From stripped-back acoustic reflections to richer, band-driven setup, the album features an artist confident enough to let tracks breathe and sprawl when they are required to.

When announcing the album on Instagram earlier this week, Bryan stated, “Hope you don’t hate it.” Following up on 2024’s The Great American Bar Scene, this release enables listeners to feel Bryan’s growing artistry firsthand. Popular for his ambitious track lists that includes 19 songs on The Great American Bar Scene, 16 on Zach Bryan (2023), and 34 on 2022’s American Heartbreak With Heaven on Top continues his love toward sprawling, immersive projects.

Life and Reflection Behind the Album

Following the release of three albums in three years and a series of EPs and live recordings, Bryan mostly took 2025 off to recalibrate. He gained the spotlight due to his high-profile break-up with podcaster Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, an altercation with Gavin Adcock at the Born & Raised Festival, and the debut of a track some interpreted as a critique of ICE. In November, Bryan revealed about struggling with “earth-shattering panic attacks” amid online controversy, mirroring the pressures of rapid popularity:

“Being in the military for a decade and then thrown into a spotlight that I hadn’t fully comprehended the scope of, had some subconscious effects on me as a person. I was not content, but I also feared showing weakness because that’s not who I am or how I was raised. To charge forward and never settle was the motto.”

He has since established stability in sobriety and tied the knot to his now-wife Samantha Leonard in a private event in San Sebastian, Spain, at the end of 2025.

Supporting the Album: With Heaven on Tour 2026

To promote the release, Bryan and his band have revealed " With Heaven on Tour 2026, starting in March. The tour will take him across North America, before going on to Europe and the UK, with the performance in stadiums, from intimate hometown destinations to landmark international arenas. Support acts are Kings of Leon, Alabama Shakes, Ben Howard, MJ Lenderman, Dijon, and more.
