Amid all the theories and speculations doing rounds on social media platforms around Alan Yu’s death, who died on September 11, 2025, after reportedly falling from a building due to intoxication, none of these claims have been confirmed by law enforcement or independent investigators.

Menglong’s death was initially confirmed by authorities who claimed that he died after an accidental fall from a building. The latest set of developments emerged days after audio recordings allegedly captured the moment Alan Yu’s abdomen was cut open to retrieve a USB drive, according to The Vision Times.
The audio recordings emerged online along with a video reportedly recorded by a neighbor through a peephole. The actor reportedly died on September 11, 2025, in Beijing, China.
Born on June 15, 1988, in Urumqi, Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Yu first gained prominence as a singer through talent shows such as “My Show” and “Happy Boys,” according to Global Times. In 2014, Yu started his transition into the field of acting by taking part in the drama “The Loving Home.” He later starred in various series, including “Go Princess Go” and “Eternal Love,” Global Times reported, citing the Nanfang Plus.
