In a shocking update related to the death of Chinese actor Yu Menglong, a new video clip has surfaced online allegedly showing the late Chinese actor Yu Menglong, also known as Alan Yu, being transported in a sack. Menglong, also known as Alan Yu, died on September 11, 2025, after falling from a building.

Authorities were quick to confirm his death, ruling out all possibilities of foul play. His mother said that her son was intoxicated on the night of his death. Since then, several speculations and theories have flooded Chinese social media, suggesting that Yu’s fatal fall was not accidental and suspecting the involvement of influential people.

The 37-year-old actor’s management agency, Tianyu Media, also came under the radar of netizens after it was revealed that at least nine other artists associated with the company have reportedly “died or disappeared” under suspicious circumstances as well. Amid all the ongoing claims, the new unsettling video clip has reignited public ire and speculation surrounding his death.

What did the viral clip reveal

The clip, which surfaced online on Oct. 17, 2025, reportedly captures muffled voices saying “Jiguangguang” and “Yu Menglong,” along with the sound of an airplane overhead, according to Vision Times. After the footage went viral, it took Chinese social media by storm, fueling widespread theories of a clandestine operation near Beijing’s airport.

Li Muyang, an independent analyst, claimed that the video shows a man dressed in black pointing at a sack in the trunk of a car and asking, “Who is this?” Someone replies, “Yu Menglong,” as quoted by Vision Times. The man then asks, “Who are you sending him to?”

The location remains unverified, but Li observed that the distinct aircraft sounds suggest the area could be near the Beijing Airport Expressway. He asserted that the 798 Art District and Jiamei Fengshang Center, both rumored to be linked to the case, lie roughly 20 minutes apart.

Was Yu Menglong’s body shifted

Netizens believe that zooming in on the footage reveals a blue-and-white Beijing license plate: “京E 5XF17,” according to Vision Times. Some people on the Internet also believed that those behind the Chinese actor's death were involved in secretly moving his body to the Bvlgari Hotel Beijing, Vision Times reported. From there, they allegedly used an underground passage to reach the hidden basement of the Kihao Art Museum.
