Yu Menglong's 'stomach cut open' for USB drive, chilling video and audio clips allegedly before Chinese actor Alan Yu’s death surface; here’s what we know so far

The death of Chinese actor Yu Menglong (Alan Yu) left his fans shocked. After the rumors of his demise surfaced, authorities confirmed that he died after falling from a building in China's capital, Beijing. He was reportedly intoxicated at the time of the tragic accident. Now, several days after the death of the 37-year-old film star, many unsettling details emerged, raising speculations and adding layers of suspicion.

According to The Vision Times, audio recordings allegedly capture the moment Alan Yu’s abdomen was cut open to retrieve a USB drive. The audio recordings emerged online along with a video reportedly recorded by a neighbor through a peephole. The actor reportedly died died on September 11, 2025 in Beijing, China.

Audio and video recordings allegedly before Alan Yu’s death surface

The Vision Times stated that a Chinese X profile, “News Investigation” or “Investigative Journalism” (name loosely transferred from Chinese to English), shared the purported video and audio clip of Yu being cut open to remove a USB drive and the video allegedly recorded by a neighbor that apparently showed the assailant.

The voices are faint but are still slightly recognizable from the audio clip. According to The Vision Times, the assailant can be heard shouting: “Spit it out!” and “Cut open his stomach for me!” while the weakened voice of the actor and the comments of others around can also be recognized. In another clip, the attacker can be heard yelling: “Don’t mind him, he won’t die!”

In another video shared by “News Investigation,” it appeared Yu was being moved from the Bulgari Hotel to another site, the Sunshine Upper East residential complex.

Vision Times reported that by that time, Alan Yu was already exhausted, dragged along by multiple assailants. The footage also showed a woman at the back, identified as Song Yiren, can be seen holding up her phone to record. “News Investigation” said that the woman Yiren was on the party guest list.

In another video clip posted by “News Investigation,” it appeared that Yu was trying to escape in a parking lot. He was caught by actor Fan Shiqi. The post allegedly showed that Fan brutally beat Yu before dragging him into a car. According to Vision Times, the incident is believed to have occurred before Yu was pushed from the building for the first time.
