Yu Menglong death case: Chinese actress Sun Lin demands ‘justice’ for Alan Yu in social media post, then deletes it; here’s why and what she says in her post

The suspense around the actual reason behind the death of Chinese actor Yu Menglong continues to prevail almost a month after he reportedly died after falling from a building. On one hand, authorities claim that the actor died due to an accidental fall and was intoxicated at the time of the incident, while on the other, social media users have shared multiple video clips suggesting that the actor’s fatal fall was not accidental.

Menglong also known as Alan Yu died on September 11, 2025 and since than rumors about the death of the 37 years old have gained traction triggering multiple speculations and theories surrounding his death. The death was also confimed by the actor’s management. Police ruled out the possibility of murder.

Chinese actress expresses doubt about Menglong’s death, receives threats

Besides netizens, Chinese actors and actresses are also expressing doubts about the death case. In a viral, now-deleted post, Chinese actress Sun Lin wrote, “Your fans will fight for justice. Justice may be delayed, but it will never be absent,” as quoted by online platform Koreaboo.

The actress, however, deleted the post after receiving anonymous online threats. She even sustained injuries on September 19, 2025 by a falling flowerpot while collecting a package.

According to the online platform Mabumbe, Menglong shot to fame in 2007 when he participated in Dragon Television’s My Show! My Style!, where he reached the top 16 in the Xi’an division.

This exposure opened the gate of opportunities for Yu, which included directing a music video for singer Deanna Ding’s “61 Seconds” in 2010. With the passage of time, the 37-year-old actor took giant strides in the world of acting and appeared in several dramas, including Go Princess Go and Eternal Love.
