Yale Law School withdraws from U.S. News & World Report Rankings over ‘flawed’ method
Dean Gerken stated on Wednesday, November 16 that Yale Law School will no longer be part of world report ranking & U.S. News. That’s because she believes that the U.S. News rankings are “profoundly flawed”.

Yale Law school has consistently topped the chart, but the dean said the institution has never advertised or used that spot for our course. The school has invested significant capital and energy in making Yale a better place in recent years.
Reason for calling law school flawed:
Gerken said in the statement that she believes there are various reasons why the U.S. News ranking does not fit all the law schools:• U.S. News has refused to use the criteria and methodology defined by various law school deans and researchers.
• U.S. News ranks 192 law schools with a minimal criterion, which is nearly impossible.
