Xi’s ambitions to surpass the U.S: China is building the world’s largest military command center that is 10 times bigger than the Pentagon, which could open in the PLA's centenary in 2027
Recent reports have revealed that China is eventually building the largest military command center of the world. It is being also claimed that the latest military command center in China will be 10 times bigger in comparison to Pentagon.

According to The Telegraph, construction began in the mid of the year 2024 while aligning with the People's Liberation Army's centenary in the year 2027 and the military modernization goals of China. The facility is now expected to replace the existing Western Hills complex and provide immense enhanced protection against the potential US ‘bunker buster’ munitions and nuclear attacks.
US intelligence officials and former CIA analysts now suggest that the complex actually signals the intention of China to develop an advanced nuclear war fighting capabilities, asserted The Telegraph. The site reportedly features approximately 100 cranes, deep underground tunnels and reinforced concrete structures.
The access is strictly controlled with signs prohibiting drone flights and photography.
The project eventually coincides with the rapid nuclear arsenal expansion of China with Pentagon estimates suggesting that Beijing will have 1,500 operable nuclear weapons by the year 2035, noted The Telegraph. This development now comes amidst severely rising tensions specifically concerning the potential plans of China to annex Taiwan and challenge the US military supremacy.
