Ahead of the main event of the night, Alicia Taylor got on the microphone to make an announcement. The 2025 edition of Survivor Series managed to set a record for the event with 46,016 fans in attendance. This was the highest in the 39-year history of Survivor Series.
For all those who turned up for WWE’s premium event, they were in for a treat with lots to look forward to, including John Cena’s match against Dominik Mysterio. The star-studded event saw four key matches, including the men’s and women’s WarGames matches. It was also a wonderful opportunity for the company to show off in another major stadium.
John Cena loses his career’s final WWE PLE Match
Cena, who entered Petco Park in San Diego as the WWE Intercontinental Champion, didn't leave the event with the title. Dominik Mysterio regained "Monday Night Raw's" male midcard gold thanks to some assistance from Liv Morgan.
WWE Survivor Series: WarGames: Check results
Women's WarGames Match: AJ Lee, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Iyo Sky, and Rhea Ripley defeated Becky Lynch, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), Lash Legend, and Nia Jax by submission when Becky Lynch tapped out to AJ Lee's Black Widow. The list of entrants' order went: Flair, Asuka, Sky, Lynch, Bliss, Sane, Lee, Jax, Ripley, and Legend.
WWE Men's Intercontinental Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio defeated John Cena (c) by pinfall to win the belt! Liv Morgan returned, helping Mysterio win the match.
WWE Women's World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) defeated Nikki Bella by pinfall to retain.
Men's WarGames Match: The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed), Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and Brock Lesnar defeated CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns by pinfall on Punk. The list of entrants' order went: Punk, Breakker, McIntyre, Rhodes, Paul, Jimmy Uso, Reed, Jey Uso, Lesnar, and Reigns. There was a masked person who came out and led to the finish, superkicking Punk and laying him out with a stomp (to imply it was Seth Rollins).
