WWE SummerSlam 2025 Live Streaming: John Cena-Cody Rhodes street fight headlines two-night event - Preview, Date, Time, Full Match Cards, and more

Since its inception in 1988, SummerSlam has been one of WWE’s most iconic annual events, delivering unforgettable moments over the years. Now, in 2025, the spectacle grows even larger as SummerSlam becomes a two-night event, which was previously reserved only for WrestleMania since 2020, for the first time ever, loaded with championship clashes and high-stakes showdowns.

The event will showcase top WWE Superstars from both the Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. According to reports, US pop icon and rapper Cardi B is set to serve as the hostess for this year’s SummerSlam, adding star power to an already stacked weekend.

Headlining the card is John Cena’s final SummerSlam appearance, a brutal Street Fight rematch against Cody Rhodes. Cena defeated Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 and proclaimed himself the 'Last Real Champion'. Since then, Rhodes has battled back, winning the 2025 King of the Ring Tournament by defeating Randy Orton and earning another shot at Cena - with redemption and wrestling's future hanging in the balance.



Also set is CM Punk taking on Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Punk earned his opportunity after outlasting Bron Breakker in a grueling Number 1 Contender Gauntlet Match.


In the women’s division, reigning WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton looks to continue her impressive reign against Queen of the Ring winner Jade Cargill. Stratton has recently toppled legends like Trish Stratus, Nia Jax, and Charlotte Flair, but Cargill could pose her biggest challenge yet.

Meanwhile, Naomi, who shocked the WWE Universe by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract at Evolution to win the Women’s World Championship, will now defend her title in a Triple Threat Match against former champions IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley.
