WWE SmackDown's September 26 episode will deliver high-stakes Friday night action from Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. The spotlight will be on the Women’s Championship as Tiffany Stratton, who is yet to be defeated in 2025, defends her title in a blockbuster Triple Threat match against Jade Cargill and Nia Jax. With two powerful challengers, Stratton faces her toughest defense yet.


WWE Women’s Champion Stratton has been holding the title for nearly 300 days, ever since cashing in Money in the Bank on the first SmackDown of 2025. Her highly anticipated Triple Threat title defense, originally scheduled for Wrestlepalooza, was postponed due to health concerns.


The issue arose on the September 12 SmackDown, when Stratton faced Cargill in a bout that ended in a double count-out. During the match, Stratton attempted a top-rope moonsault to the outside and landed hard on the back of her head. That must be th reason why WWE medical staff kept her sidelined only as a precaution.


There’s plenty on the line in Friday night’s triple threat match, as the winner will advance to face Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer at Crown Jewel on October 11. The clash will determine who can truly call themselves the best in WWE, with the prestigious 2025 Women’s Crown Jewel Championship at stake.

"Physically, I’m okay," Tiffany said on the Going Ringside podcast. "Obviously, on that moonsault, it was a little bit of a rough landing. However, I was fine. I think it was more precautionary and monitoring and seeing if anything was bad about the fall. For the most part, I’m doing good. I’m great."
