Now, with Cena’s SummerSlam swansong looming, both superstars are expected to address their rivalry one last time before going to war. The episode will also feature key appearances from other top SmackDown stars as WWE sets the stage for its first-ever two-night SummerSlam event, scheduled on Saturday and Sunday, packed with gold and grudges.
After two straight weeks of brutal attacks, Damian Priest is out for revenge, while Aleister Black is focused on settling a lingering debt - one that now falls on Priest after being passed down from R-Truth. The two intense competitors are set to collide inside the ring in what promises to be a hard-hitting showdown on this week’s episode.
Also announced, Women’s United States Champion Giulia, now managed by a returning Kiana James, will put her title on the line in a high-stakes rematch against former champion Zelina Vega on the SummerSlam go-home show.
