Evans almost stole the win with a stunning Swanton Coast to Coast, but Briggs turned the tide by bringing a steel chair into play, but it was immediately confiscated by the referee. That distraction changed the momentum of the game, as Briggs blasted Evans with a vicious steel chain-wrapped right hand to secure the hard-fought victory.



Lainey Reid defeats Faby Apache in Speed Match

Lainey Reid booked her place in the next round of the WWE Women’s Speed Championship with a hard-fought victory over Faby Apache, under the watchful eyes of Natalya at ringside. The match was decided at the eleventh hour with merely 30 seconds to go, when Apache climbed the top rope in search of a decisive splash. However, a timely distraction from Natalya’s appearance causes her to miss. Reid quickly capitalised on it, connecting with a running knee to seal the pinfall. Reid now advances to face former Women’s Speed Champion Candice LeRae, who previously defeated Xia Brookside, in this high-stakes mini-tournament. The fight between Reid and LeRae will determine who challenges Sol Ruca for the WWE Speed Women's Championship at the upcoming No Mercy event on September 27.


DarkState defeats Hank & Tank to retain NXT Tag Team Championship

DarkState retained the NXT Tag Team Titles in a wild showdown that saw a surprise appearance from Joe Hendry. The bout was evenly contested until ringside chaos unfolded, with Cutler James summoning Hendry and throwing the arena into frenzy. Amid the distraction, Hank & Tank lost focus, leaving Hank Walker exposed. Tavion Heights defeats Ethan Page in Flag Match

Heights finally earned his revenge on Ethan Page in a thrilling back-and-forth Flag Match. It was a hard-fought battle with both men repeatedly climbing the turnbuckles and even sending each other crashing from the top rope in pursuit of their flags. The turning point came when Heights delivered a breathtaking Avalanche Belly-to-Belly Suplex, clearing his way to scale the opposite corner and secure his flag for the victory. After the hard-fought win, Heights draped the Canadian flag over a fallen Page, former NXT star Tyler Breeze made a surprise cameo only to take a selfie with the downed champion.


The Culling defeats Fatal Influence and Za-Ruca in Triple Threat Tag Team Elimination Match

The Culling moved one step closer to championship glory by outlasting Fatal Influence and Za-Ruca to earn the No. 1 Contenders’ spot for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. The first elimination came when Sol Ruca accidentally struck partner Zaria with a Sol Snatcher, sealing Za-Ruca’s exit. The final stretch saw Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx fall short against Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley, cementing The Culling’s victory.
