WWE Friday Night SmackDown is set to be special for Roman Reigns as the wrestler will celebrate 1,000 days as the reigning champion. Friday Night SmackDown this week will also showcase what happens within "The Bloodline" after Jimmy Uso delivered a superkick to Reigns, according to reports.

There are reports that there will be unveiling of new WWE Universal Championship during the WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

These reports have claimed that a podium will be set up in order to showcase the "New WWE Championship". This is expected to be similar to the event where The Rock unveiled WWE Championship in 2013.

This has led to speculations among WWE fans. Fans are wondering whether the current design of WWE Championship will be replaced or there will be retirement of WWE Championship for a singular title.

So this WWE Friday Night SmackDown has everything to look forward for a WWE fan - Roman Reigns celebrating 1,000 days as the Universal Champion, mystery surrounding WWE Championship, and the Universal Champion.

Meanwhile, WWE saw a drop in its revenue and profit in the first quarter but still managed to top Wall Street's view. In April, Endeavor and World Wrestling Entertainment announced that a new publicly traded company will house the UFC and WWE brands, with Endeavor Group Holdings Inc. taking a 51 per cent controlling interest in the new company. Existing WWE shareholders will hold a 49 per cent stake.

The companies put the enterprise value of UFC at $12.1 billion and WWE's value at $9.3 billion. The deal is expected to close in the second half of the year.

In the first quarter, WWE reported its revenue declined to $297.6 million from $333.4 million.

In May, the company said that the drop in revenue was mostly due to a shift in the timing of an international event. That was partly offset by increased revenue related to the contractual escalation of media rights fees for WWE's weekly shows, Raw and SmackDown, and increased ticket sales in North America.
