World of Warcraft: Forever release date, global launch times, new features, dungeons and raids

World of Warcraft: Forever will be released on November 4, 2026. The game will be released globally at the same time by Blizzard with servers launching at 3PM PST. This release adds levels 1-60 to play in the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.

What’s new in World of Warcraft: Forever?

World of Warcraft: Forever takes place after Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom but before Molten Core. This means you will explore the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor with new levels 1-60. Blizzard have added over 1000 quests to new and remade zones.

Zephras Isle is the starting zone for the new race, Skyborne (shen'dorei). Skyborne can play on both factions. Horde Windshapers can play as Shamans and Alliance High-Order Skyborne can play as Mages. Other new race/class combinations include Orc Mages, Troll Warlocks, Undead Paladins, Human Hunters, Gnome Priests, and Dwarf Shamans.

New features, dungeons and raids

You can choose between two presets for your gameplay. Classic will give you the original experience. Enhanced will give you higher definition character models and updated UI features. There are 4 rulesets available at launch.

Hardcore will be added in a post-launch update. The Legacy System adds account wide challenges, perks, and rewards. The Camping system lets you gather around campfires with other players and add profession crafted features.

There will be 9 new 5-player dungeons for levels 13-60. There is also a 15 vs 15 battleground called Darkspear Islands. On December 9, there will be 3 raids for level 60 players. Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit, and Onyxia's Lair.
