'World of Warcraft: Dragonflight': Know launch date, new zones and more

The ninth expansion of World of Warcraft is bringing lots of mythical Dragon Isles, playable dragons, rideable dragons and the much-requested hair colour combos. The game is due to release on November 28,

Four new zones

Dragon Isles will have four new zones in this version, namely the Waking Shores, On’ahran Plains, Azure Span and Thaldraszus. Each zone will have their own theme that corresponds with one of Warcraft's ancient dragons.

Dracthyr

They start off at level 58 and can be aligned with either the Horde or Alliance. These characters have serious physical attacks unleashing wind with their wings, like flying overhead with dragon breath, and also magical abilities which focus on ranged DPS or on healing.

Dragon Riding

Players will be able to fly across the Dragon Isles, riding on the back of a Drakks, which can fly further and faster with certain skills and can even be customised with cosmetics.



Players can also expect HUD changes, higher-quality life upgrades, revamped professions and talent tree revamps. If either Shadowlands or Battle for Azeroth left you wanting more, now is as great a time as any to return to the game.
