Wordle is a five-letter game founded by Josh Wardle, an American-Welsh software designer. Wardle created the game as a pass-time for his wife during the early days of the pandemic but made it public in October last year. After it grew in popularity tremendously, The New York Times bought the game and copyrighted 'Wordle' under their name.The game is straightforward, and you can only play it on mobile and desktop browsers. There's no app for iOS or Android devices either. Moreover, the game doesn't have ads to interrupt you or permission requirements. Wordle also discourages addiction, which is why you can only play the game once daily.
How to Play Wordle?
You can play Wordle on The New York Times page by clicking here. You'll find a grid of six slots on the page, with five blocks each. Start the game by typing your first guess, which will pop up in the first slot. Letters from the correct word get highlighted in yellow, and if they turn green, they are in their right positions.
