Wordle #762, July 21: Hints, answer unveiled for word puzzle enthusiasts

Wordle has become amazingly popular word puzzle game across the world since its release back in the year 2021. Many other Wordle inspired games then came in market like Scrabble, Quordle, Dordle etc.

Wordle is a web based game where you have to decipher a five letter word. Wordle was designed by Engineer Josh Wardle for his wife who loves word puzzle games. Later, it was bought by The New York Times for an undisclosed amount.

Wordle is now available to play on the official website of The New York Times. The game can be played only once a day as each day brings a new challenge for its users.


Wordle game does not require you to do any log in formalities or sign ups to play the game. It can easily be played on mobile browsers or Pcs.

How to Play Wordle?

Wordle requires you to crack a five letter word given in a grid by typing in letters. Each day brings in new word challenge.

But the trick is..

You have to decipher the word in six attempts.

Wordle Rules-

You have to randomly type in letters to check the following-

If the box turns Grey- it means letters from your word are not there in the secret word at all.

If it turns Yellow- it means, the letters are there but not in the same position.

If it turns Green means, you've nailed it, letters match with the same position in which they are placed.
