Wordle #469, October 1: Hints, answer for today's word of the day

It is time to solve Wordle #469, and gamers are flocking to the site to try their luck and continue the winning streak.

The word comprises 5 letters, and you get six tries to solve and guess the word. The game is simple, and it is entirely free. A letter is highlighted in green if it matches what is required for the word. The word is to be guessed correctly in as few tries as possible. Green denotes that you have selected the right letter, and placement is also correct. If a letter is highlighted in yellow, it means the letter is in the word, but the placement is incorrect. You would have to re-adjust the placement to get the correct word. If the highlight is black or grey, that denotes the letter is entirely wrong and needs to be replaced.
