Wordle is an ultra-popular word game that went viral during the lockdown period. Josh Wardle, a Welsh software engineer from California, created Wordle as a gift to his wife.


However, the game became an instant hit and an iconic worldwide phenomenon. Soon after it gained superstardom, The New York Times purchased Wordle. The game has inspired other popular word games like Quordle and Heardle.

What makes Wordle so popular is its simplicity. The game is accessible only via mobile and desktop browsers on its website. Unlike other data and money-hungry games, Wordle doesn't show ads and allows you to play the game only once daily to prevent addiction.

How to Play Wordle?
Playing Wordle is quite simple. Log on to the Wordle link using your phone or computer. On the website, you'll see a grid of six blocks with five letters each.
You will have to guess a five-letter word for the day within six attempts. Once you start typing, the letters will pop up in the first grid. If the letters typed are correct but in the wrong positions, they will get highlighted in yellow or green if they are in the right place.

Once all the five places of a block turn green, you win the gain. If you cannot guess the correct word within six tries, you will lose the game, and the system will pop up the correct answer on the screen.
