Wordle, the famous word game, was developed by Josh Wardle. He is a Welsh software engineer based in Brooklyn. Wardle created the guessing game because his partner, Palak Shah, loved playing them. What are the rules to play Wordle?
The rules are pretty simple. You have six chances to guess a five-lettered word. You have to make random guesses for playing it. As you type the word, the boxes change their colours.


What do different colours represent?
When the box changes to green, it indicates that the letter you have entered in that particular box is a part of the word and is placed at the right position.
Whereas, if your box turns yellow, it represents that although the letter entered is a part of the word, it is not placed at the correct position.
Lastly, if the box is grey in colour, it means that the letter entered isn't a part of the correct word.
