Wordle #385: Clues, hints and answer for today’s Wordle, July 9

The rules of Wordle and the game itself are so interesting for fans that they aren’t done with the game yet. The rules are very simple for the game. You guess a five-letter word in six guesses to find the correct word. People have been enhancing their vocabularies ever since The New York Times released this game.

Every midnight the words are reshuffled and a new word is put for the next day. Although hints are provided in the form of color-coded blocks. The answer to today’s Wordle is “STEAD”. The meaning of the word is the place or part that someone or something should have or fill.

Wordle's answer for yesterday was the word “Voice”. Before that, the word was “Agape”, and the word on July 6 was “Fluff”. For July 5 the answer was “Field”. The Wordle for July 3 was “Egret”, and early to that, the Wordle for July 2 was “Hutch”. July 1 Wordle was “Gawky”, and on June 30 Wordle was “Droll”.
