Wordle 375: Hints and answer for Wordle on June 29

If you’re still playing Wordle, more power to you! The mid-week is here, and there’s nothing better than kicking back with your favourite word puzzle at the end of the day – or at least that’s what Ross from ‘Friends’ would say. While the words haven’t really been getting harder, if you do get stuck, the answer to today’s Wordle can be found at the end of this article – with a spoiler alert of course.

But first, what is Wordle?
It’s an internet-based game designed by Josh Wardle, and currently owned by The New York Times. All players around the world have six attempts to guess the same word (of the day). By a process of elimination of the letters of the alphabet, one can arrive at the word of the day. However, you only get six attempts.


Made as a daily game for his wife and himself, Josh took the game public, and it quickly went viral. The New York Times bought it recently and is still free to play. It has also inspired several knock-offs that focus on a particular theme or subject.

Any tips to get started?
Your first word should ideally contain two vowels at least, and the common consonants such as S, T, R, and P, which would make SITAR, POISE, TASER, etc., good choices. If the vowels have been exhausted you can try using Y, which functions as a pseudo-vowel.
