Wordle #353: Hints and answers for 7th June 2022
Wordle is played the world over by millions of people, currently under the New York Times banner where guesses bring out the chosen five-letter word of the day.

A little about the history of how Wordle began. Josh Wardle used to play this game with his partner. This was like the guessing game that was played like “jot the word” or Jotto. During the pandemic, Josh’s partner Palak Shah and he would play till it got popular amongst mutual friends and relatives, till people wanted more and would wait for the next day to catch the word. On November 1st, 2021, 90 players played Wordle, and then on it rose to 2 million soon. People actively shared the word on Twitter and it became a craze to what it means to people today. New York Times now has bought this for a huge sum of money from Josh Wardle, and around 2700 words of the 13,000 5-letter words that are there in the English dictionary are used.
Now that the story is clear, hopefully, you are ready to play. The hint for today’s answer is:
“An overflow of a large amount of water beyond its normal limits, especially over normally dry land.”
The other hint applicable is “arrive in overwhelming amounts or quantities.”
For those who read on a daily basis, perhaps guessing the answer was very easy. If you haven’t guessed it today, you will have another chance tomorrow, so don’t fret.
The answer for today the 7th of June 2022 is: FLOOD
If anyone wins guessing 2 words in a row then the award is a “winning streak” till you fail and the streak crashes, and then you begin again.
