Woman ending 10-year prison sentence wishes to meet Taylor Swift first; Check out why
As freedom beckons after a decade behind bars, one woman harbors a heartfelt wish that stands above all others. Gypsy Rose Blanchard is on the cusp of release and her first desire is to fulfill a lifelong dream. Her aspiration is not for wealth, f...

With her release date set for December 28, Blanchard hopes for a chance encounter with her idol, Swift, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. To fulfill this aspiration, Blanchard and her husband have already purchased tickets for an upcoming game featuring Travis Kelce.
So, why does Gypsy Rose wish to meet Taylor Swift?
Blanchard openly shares that Swift's songs have been a source of inspiration for her, teaching her the true essence of "girl power." Specifically, Swift's 2012 song "Eyes Open" played a pivotal role in helping Blanchard overcome the trauma stemming from her mother's abuse. The 32-year-old former inmate has confessed to using the money sent by her father to acquire every album released by Swift.
Blanchard's enthusiasm extends to meeting Travis Kelce, as she is a dedicated football enthusiast. Nevertheless, she has a contingency plan in case Swift cannot make it to Kelce's game, which involves securing tickets for the October 2024 leg of Swift's tour in New Orleans.
While recognizing the potential challenges in realizing her heartfelt wish, Blanchard remains hopeful that her desire to meet Swift, whom she affectionately refers to as "the kick-ass chick," will come to fruition.
