With Apple iPhone 17 series phones launch hours away, here’s how much iPhone 16 costs; check prices

The wait is over for iPhone fans as Apple's 'Awe Dropping’ event is just a few hours away. The event is set to take place on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 (Tuesday). During the event, the tech giant is set to release a range of iPhone 17 phones, including: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Besides this, Apple will also likely unveil a new Apple Watch Ultra 3 alongside a new Apple Watch Series 11.

Just like every year, there will be a buzz around the price drop of iPhone’s previous set of phones following the launch of the latest series.

Following the launch, pre-orders for the iPhone 17 series will open on September 12 at 5 a.m. PT (8 a.m. ET). Apple Upgrade Program users will be able to pre-approve their upgrades in the days leading up to the pre-order window.

The official release date is September 19, when deliveries will begin across major markets and Apple Stores will open doors to early buyers.
