William Regal’s nixed exit plans from All Elite Wrestling disclosed; Details here

AEW television had its nasty way of making a wrestler, and a famous one at that, be attacked from behind by MJF. The wrestling legend, who hails from the UK, had to be carried out on a stretcher from the wrestling stadium as the champion knocked him out.

The wrestler from across the Atlantic, Regal, was hit at the back of his head by Maxwell Jacob Friedman MJF, wearing his customary brass knuckles, much to the dismay of the fans. Word has it that the veteran wrestler has decided to go over to WWE and pull the curtains with the AEW.

One of the best writers of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer, said that Regal was one of the best in the business, but he could not be given any more extensions. The wrestler was doomed to be side-lined anyways. AEL decided on many options for Regal’s exit, but the final decision was that MJF would be the champion.




Many had decided to sideline Regal, with MJF as the champion and Danielson as the challenger. People want to see how Regal would exit AEW and get into WWE, as it was here that the wrestler joined the pay-per-view category. Since Regal is making money for AEW, fans are taking a keen interest in his exit from the show and seeing what happens to AEW.

Regal got sandwiched between Danielson and Moxley and formed a new fighting club called Blackpool Combat Club. This new club created by Regal has posed a challenge for AEW and Jon Moxley, the winner of both Interim and Lineal championships of AEW. Castagnoli has won the Ring of Honour (ROH) World Championship, while Yuta has grabbed the ROH Pure Championship.
