Malaysia Airlines flight MH370's search is still on, and this time much more effort is being put in to find out what exactly happened with the missing plane that up and disappeared from the face of the earth 11 years ago. Maritime company Ocean Infinity is currently coordinating this new search for the missing MH370 and sea-sweeping activities are taking place in certain locations that have been identified as hotspots, which could be possible regions where the plane may have crashed into.

New area to be searched thoroughly

According to an NY Post report, fresh sweep of the depths of the sea will be conducted around nearly 5,800 square-mile area of the Indian Ocean, which previously went underexamined. This region was identified as one of the primary hotspots considering certain data, including satellite signals and disrupted radio transmissions, which suggest that there may be something underneath the sea waters in this very region.

Four particular hotspots have been identified till now where researchers believe the wreckage could be present, including the fuselage of the missing plane. The company coordinating this heavily-funded search is hopeful that their search could shed some light on the missing plane and what exactly happened to it. New ocean-floor searching drones have also been deployed for this purpose, which could also prove to be quite helpful for the search.
