Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been offered a jaw-dropping amount to co-star in a romantic World War II film.

However, one overly optimistic producer claims that Brad Pitt, 60, and Angelina Jolie, 49, are now being offered a blank cheque if they can successfully put their love of acting aside their differences and co-star in a film, as quoted in a report by Page Six.
Danny Rossner says he is serious about his offer and has raised about $60 million from his backers, which he hopes will be enough to persuade enemies Brad and Angelina to put their differences aside.

It will be difficult to sell to an ex-couple, though, who have fought for eight years over money, child custody, and the future of their wine company. The A-list split was evident in September when the Venice Film Festival organisers had to make sure the ex-partners' films were screened on different days.

Rossner characterises the movie he wants Brad and Angelina to star in as his passion project of more than 20 years. His output over the last ten years is noticeably more B-movie than A-list.Rossner has not worked out an even split in the fees for the exes, which is sure to prove a sticking point for Angelina, should the project miraculously make it to the negotiating table.

He believes that Brad Pitt's in the $20 to $25 million range per movie and Angelina Jolie's in the $15 million range. In the 50-percent range above their going rate is what they are prepared to offer, which would mean as much as $37.5 million for Pitt, but only $22 million for Jolie.
Rossner acknowledges the casting is a long shot, but believes other miraculous things have happened in the world recently.
