The series has been released to good reviews and viewers want a second season. So, is Painkiller getting a Season 2? Here’s what we know.

Painkiller season 1, a limited release, premiered on Netflix in August 2023. The series looks into the overuse of the drug OxyContin and how it caused pain to people who were prescribed it. Painkiller has outstanding performances by artists such as Uzo Aduba, Matthew Broderick and Taylor Kitsch.



Will there be a Painkiller Season 2 on Netflix?


Netflix originally planned Painkiller as a limited series and also promoted it as such. So, there is no Season 2 of Painkiller in the offing. But who knows?
