Will the court this time order a DNA test? Jay-Z's alleged illegitimate son files fresh lawsuit against him on paternity claims

Jay-Z’s legal troubles have taken another serious turn as Rymir Satterthwaite, who claims to be his illegitimate son, has filed a new lawsuit.

Jay-Z’s legal and personal troubles have deepened as Rymir Satterthwaite, who claims to be his illegitimate son, has filed a new lawsuit. The 31-year-old accuses the court system of hindering his efforts to settle paternity issues with the rapper. This lawsuit comes at a time when Jay-Z is already engaged in a legal battle over rape allegations, adding more complexity to his situation.

Satterthwaite is requesting that court documents be unsealed and a "declaratory judgment" be issued to confirm that his rights, and those of his late mother, Wanda, were violated. He is also seeking compensation for the emotional distress caused by this long-running legal struggle.

In his filing, Satterthwaite alleged that several judges, including Deborah Silverman Katz and Charles W. Dortch Jr., misrepresented facts and allowed false claims in favor of Jay-Z. The lawsuit also accuses the court of imposing non-existent gag orders and obstructing his attempts to compel Jay-Z to acknowledge paternity.

The 31-year-old criticized Jay-Z’s silence, stating, “Despite my efforts, Mr. Carter has never once addressed these claims—whether to deny or acknowledge paternity."

Satterthwaite made an emotional plea, urging Jay-Z to come forward with transparency and prove his commitment to truth and justice. He remarked, “This is not about greed or spectacle—it’s about uncovering the truth.”

Jay-Z is simultaneously dealing with rape allegations. The rapper recently filed a motion to compel his accuser to reveal her identity, claiming the lawsuit is a retaliatory act for refusing extortion attempts. He also requested the court dismiss the case if his demand is not met.

Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing the accuser, refuted Jay-Z's claims of extortion, stating, “The victim never demanded a penny from him.”
