For the fans of ‘The Boys’, here’s some bad news! The much-awaited season 4 of the series is not coming to Prime Video in November 2022. And this is not surprising!

Season 3 of the show hit the platform only in the summer of 2022 when Prime Video announced renewing it. As the show has been renewed recently, it will take some time for the production house to produce and release the following season.

Expected Season 4 release date

There’s no official announcement or confirmation from Prime Video about Season 4’s release date. However, looking at the third season, it might take 14 to 18 months for the new season to release. That means Season 4 of the show might release around September 2023.


Filming started in August 2022 and might complete by March 2023, and after post-production, it might release later in 2023.

Erik Kripke, in an interview, talked about possible storylines for the next season. It might include a row over Ryan. Since Butcher discovered that he is terminal, he has nothing to lose. Given his character, Butcher will not go down without making a noise.
