Will Smith planning a post-slap comeback with “I am Legend” sequel
Will Smith still plans to make a comeback post-"Oscar Slap Gate" with a sequel to his 2007 hit "I Am Legend" that is being worked on with him in mind for the moment.

After the Oscar incident with Chris Rock, many projects slipped from his fingers, like Netflix's Fast and Loose and Bright 2. Somehow, Sony Pictures' Tom Rothman didn’t give up on Will Smith and decided to go ahead with Bad Boys 4. The Oscars have banned Will Smith for a decade, but good for both Will Smith and the Oscar enterprise, they didn’t snatch back his first Oscar for best actor for King Richard.
Will Smith is also a rapper and has performed many hit rap songs with his childhood friend, DJ Jazzy Jeff. "Girls Ain't Nothing but Trouble" is a hit single by Will Smith and Jazzie Jeff.
So to round things off, Will Smith is in the limelight again, with the grapevine saying that the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard episode has helped people forget his slap-gate with Chris Rock. Recalling Rothman’s views that Will Smith will have to make a comeback boils down to which studio will give him that chance. Maybe that chance is here now.
