JD Vance has now become the Vice- President elect thanks to the massive victory by the Republicans in the US Presidential elections 2024, having secured more than 292 Electoral College Votes to attain a mandate in the election race.

However, there are now talks about what happens after Donald Trump steps down from the Presidential power after his tenure is completed in 2028. Since he will not be able to run again, the Republicans need to choose another big face to keep up with this massive mandate given to them by the American voters this time.

Meanwhile, Betfair is already running a bet around the chances of JD Vance running against former First Lady Michelle Obama. In this latest odds released by the bookmakers, it looks like Vance has a higher chance of winning the Presidential elections, with odds of 7/2 (22.2 per cent) as compared to Michelle Obama's odds of 4/1 (20 per cent). Meanwhile, the bookmakers also claimed that California Governor Gavin Newsom stands at 11/2 (15.4 per cent).

Other entities who have a chance of running the US elections as per the Betfair trade, include the likes of Ron DeSantis, Hillary Clinton, Tucker Carlson, Tulsi Gabbard, and Oprah Winfrey, according to a Newsweek report.

However, there are no responses from the Democrats yet about the possibility of Michelle Obama running in the US elections 2028.
