According to Independent, in a pretty recent interview on Newsmax, US Representative Jim Jordan agreed with host Rob Finnerty that the games should be moved to a ‘red city’ like Dallas or Miami while emphasizing on the fact that the US public is pretty aware of California's mismanagement under Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.

The remarks of US Representative Jim Jordan comes amidst significant criticism of California officials following devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area, which have resulted in at least 24 deaths and have ended up destroying thousands of structures. It should be also noted that the ongoing crisis has led to calls for recalls against both Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass specifically due to cuts in the firefighting budget that some believe have hindered the response of the state to the dangerous fires, asserted Independent.
