'Wild times.. Satya ftw': Elon Musk reacts to Satya Nadella welcoming Sam Altman to Microsoft
In the wake of Satya Nadella's announcement extending a warm welcome to OpenAI co-founders Sam Altman and Greg Brockman at Microsoft, Elon Musk added his own humorous touch to the development.

Elon Musk, the owner of X (formerly Twitter) and a known critic of Microsoft's influence over OpenAI, humorously remarked, "Now they will have to use Teams!" Musk's comment playfully refers to Microsoft Teams, the company's proprietary business communication platform.
Musk engaged in the discussion on Altman's post about joining the software giant, participating in a thread where Nadella also provided a response.
"We're extremely excited to share the news that Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, together with colleagues, will be joining Microsoft to lead a new advanced AI research team. We look forward to moving quickly to provide them with the resources needed for their success," wrote Nadella on X.
Nadella's post also confirmed the appointment of former Twitch CEO Emmett Shear as the new OpenAI CEO, expressing anticipation for working with the new leadership team.
This development follows days of uncertainty and speculation about Sam Altman's potential return as the CEO of OpenAI after his sudden removal from the position. Microsoft, the startup's major backer with over $10 billion invested, was reportedly collaborating with investors, including Thrive Capital and Tiger Global Management, to reinstate Altman, as reported by Bloomberg.
