Wigan actor Kym Marsh returns to Strictly Come Dancing from Covid after missing last week’s show

The singer and actor Kym Marsh who was born in Merseyside, came at the bottom of the table with 34 points performing a classic eighty’s cha cha cha with her professional partner Graziano Di Prima. Though the Coronation Street actress performed all the steps in proper timing, she looked a little tired and out of place at times. However, the judge, Motsi Mabuse, was considerate and applauded her for not skipping a beat. She was emphatic about her not missing a beat as Kym Marsh was in hot leotards for the dance. The show was held a day earlier, on Friday, to accommodate the World Cup.

Another Coronation Street Actor, Will Mellor, and presenter Helen Skelton did well and settled for top scores of 39 from the judges. This gives Will a second-week lead at the top, having braced the first week at the top. The judges highly appreciated his foxtrot from Sun and Moon (Saigon).

Helen and Gorka Marquez performed a fun couple’s choice to Mein Herr from Cabaret, for which they received hearty applause and a standing ovation from Shirley Ballas.




In the meantime, radio jockey Fleur East and her partner Vito Coppola to I Got Rhythm from America in Paris. Fleur received 38 points, along with Molly Rainford. Molly performed Hot Honey Rag from Chicago with her partner Carlos Gu and received a standing ovation from Ballas and Mabuse.

Wildlife photographer Hamza Yassin received 36 points for his samba to They Live In You from the Lion King with his dance partner Jowita Przystal.
