The 28-year-old's last match, where he lost to El Grande Americano in that match, aired on WWE Main Event in mid-July, shortly before he was pulled from active competition.

On the July 21st episode of Monday Night Raw, Waller announced that A-Town Down Under had officially disbanded due to Austin Theory’s injury. With Theory now sidelined and off the active roster, Waller is shifting focus to his singles career on Raw, moving forward without his tag team partner.
Waller made his way to SmackDown in 2023 and eventually formed a tag team with Theory, known as 'A-Town Down Under'. The duo reached a major milestone by capturing the WWE Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania XL in a six-team ladder match. However, their reign lasted only 90 days before they dropped the titles to #DIY.
