Why Strategy Won’t Sell Bitcoin Amid Market Fluctuations
Strategy itself has continued to expand its bitcoin holdings. On Monday, the company purchased 1,142 BTC for around $90 million, bringing its total treasury to 714,644 BTC, over 3.4% of bitcoin’s total fixed supply. Despite the recent slide in value, the firm remains committed to long-term accumulation.Saylor said, "We've got 50 years worth of dividends and bitcoin, we've got two and a half years worth of dividends just in cash on our balance sheet ... we're not going to be selling, we're going to be buying bitcoin.
