Why Elon Musk calls Tesla’s Cybertruck 'Apocalypse-proof'? All about it
Tesla CEO Elon Musk handed over the Cybertrucks to its owners at a live-streamed event. While introducing the vehicle, Musk called it “apocalypse-proof”. The vehicle made its first public debut in 2019.

Musk also displayed videos of protesters pointing handguns and a Thompson submachine gun at the car to demonstrate the power of the new body. "If you're ever in an argument with another car, you will win," he said.
Moreover, Musk also displayed a video of podcast host Joe Rogan shooting an armor-piercing arrow at Cybertruck's door that appeared to bounce off.
According to Musk, for manufacturing the Cybertruck, stainless steel alloy was developed specifically by Tesla itself adding that it was both corrosion-resistant and aerodynamic.
Musk said, "The apocalypse can come along at any moment, and here at Tesla we have the best in apocalypse technology."
It may be mentioned that, in 2019, Tesla's Cybertruck made its public debut at a controversial live event. Musk invited a Tesla executive to throw a baseball at the Cybertruck after he boasted that it could withstand a sledgehammer; the pitch broke one of the car's "armor glass" windows.
He invited the same executive back to try the same stunt on Thursday. This time, the baseball passed through the window unharmed. Musk claimed the windows to be "rock-proof". Adding that, “It’s smooth as silk and silent while you’re driving”.
Within two days of the disastrous first announcement, Musk claimed that the company had already received over 200,000 preorders. At Thursday's live event, several new Cybertruck owners made an appearance, and Musk gave them a tour of their new vehicles.
The monochrome silver trucks left the Austin Tesla Gigafactory and traveled through a futuristic tunnel. As he shook hands with the billionaire, an enthusiastic new owner said, "I haven't slept in three days." Musk replied, "I hope you enjoy your car," with a laugh.
