Why did Mark Zuckerberg.
Facebook has admitted that it has committed a mistake by censoring the image of Donald Trump's assassination attempt. The Mark Zuckerberg-owned social media platform called the image of Donald Trump pumping his fist in the air after an assassination attempt against him an "altered photo." After facing criticism, a spokesperson admitted Monday that it was a mistake. Meta Public Affairs Director Dani Lever explained on X it was an error as the systems were meant to detect a separate version of the image, reports 'Fox News Digital'. He explained that the fact check was initially applied to a doctored photo showing the Secret Service agents smiling, and in some cases, our systems incorrectly applied that fact check to the real photo. Tendering an apology, Lever said that it had been fixed.
