Erika Kirk’s recent emotional revelation about wanting to be pregnant on the day Charlie was killed has triggered a social media storm with many slamming the grieving widow. In the viral video, she explains that in the midst of overwhelming grief and shock, she prayed she was carrying his child as it would be the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe.

In a candid conversation with Megyn Kelly, the Turning Point USA CEO reflected on the profound pain and loss Charlie’s death brought into their lives. When Kelly asked her, "How many kids did you want to have with Charlie?” Erika, who shared two children with Charlie, spoke her heart out saying we wanted to have four.

"We wanted to have four. And I was praying to God that I was pregnant when he got murdered. I know. I was like, oh, goodness, that was going to be the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe," Erika said

"So, now when I see young couples, I tell them, 'Please, don't put it off.' Especially if you're a young woman. Don't put it off, you can always have a career, you can always, you know, go back to work. You can never just go back to having children. And they grow so fast and so quickly, but I just, I was praying. Both of us were. We were just excited to expand our family."

American conservative political activist Charlie tragically died at just 31 years old after being fatally shot while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. Police later charged 22-year-old Tyler Robinson with his murder.
