However, the leaders and other people associated with these organizations can participate in politics as individuals. Talking to 'Newsweek', Matthew D. Taylor, a senior scholar at the Institute for Islamic, Christian, and Jewish Studies, said these Christian leaders want to contribute to Donald Trump's election by mobilizing voters, supporting him in terms of theology and prophecy, galvanizing populist Christian sentiment around him. However, they don't want to donate to his campaign.

However, many people have also come out to support the Republican candidate financially. Paula White-Cain, a popular leader in the Christian prosperity movement, served as Trump's pastor for decades. He donated to Trump's campaign. Most interesting is the case of Kat Kerr, a preacher from Jacksonville, Florida, who claims God told her Trump would serve eight years in office. She has donated hundreds of dollars to Trump's campaign.
