Whoopi Goldberg has officially called for peace in the ongoing conflict between her and video game giant Blizzard Entertainment over the incompatibility of the highly anticipated game Diablo IV with Mac operating systems. In a surprising turn of events, Goldberg issued a ceasefire on Thursday, expressing her gratitude to the company in a heartfelt Instagram Story.

Sitting backstage at The View with her hair in curlers, Goldberg shared her appreciation for Blizzard's response to her complaint. She shared words via an Instagram story.

She revealed that she had received a refund for her purchase of Diablo IV and commended the company for their prompt action. While expressing her disappointment that the game couldn't be made accessible for Apple devices, she acknowledged that the decision was now out of Blizzard's hands due to the game's ownership by Microsoft.


She said in the video, “I just wanted to let everybody know that I got a refund for my Diablo game. Blizzard, you stepped up and I thank you so much for it. I really wish you had been able to make it accessible for Apple, but I understand that it's out of your hands now because it belongs to Microsoft. I always thought you guys were stand-up people, and it turns out that you are. Everybody, they gave me my deposit back. I'm hoping that yours is on the way. Again, thank you, Blizzard. I very much appreciate it."
